FridayX: a coding agent for your terminal and editor

One install command. The same Friday account, plan and models, in the shell and in your editor.

FridayX is Friday's coding agent for the terminal and your editor. It reads your project, edits files, runs commands and manages long tasks.

It uses your Friday account, so the plan, the models and the usage meter are the same as on the web, Android and iOS apps.

Install it on macOS, Linux or Windows, run friday in a project, and sign in from the browser on first run.

A VS Code extension is built. JetBrains, Zed and other editors work through the Agent Client Protocol.
